Smodis to miss Adriatic Final Four?

A foot injury might keep Cedevita’s Matjaz Smodis from playing in the upcoming Adriatic League Final Four.

Slovenian Smodis might decide to rest his foot for the Final Four, to be played in Israel on April 28th-30th and prepare instead for the Croatian playoffs.

As of this time, it isn’t confirmed.

Cedevita finished second in the Adriatic League with a 19-7 record, they finished behind leaders Maccabi Electra who breezed to 24-2. The Croatian side will play Partizan in the semi-finals in Tel-Aviv on Saturday. They ended their regular season campaign with a 80-64 win over Serbian side Hemofarm.

The Zagreb club are currently second in the Croatian A1 League with a 7-3 record. They lost ground on leaders Cibona though as they defeated Cedevita 79-76 last weekend.
