Golden State Warriors‘ owner Joe Lacob took the time to talk about how he felt when Kevin Durant left the team.

“I was sad to see him go because I think if he’d have stayed — which I think he should have — we would have, maybe not this year but for the next five years, one of the best players in basketball. So that was sad,” Lacob said.

Having to deal not only with Kevin Durant’s departure, but also Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson being injured, Golden State now sits in the last place in the Western Conference, with a 11-39 record.
