Golden State Warriors’ center Andrew Bogut will miss the London Olympics due a fractured left ankle.
Bogut, who has missed 23 games this season following his acquisition from the Milwaukee Bucks on March 13th, will undergo arthroscopic surgery next Friday (27th). The procedure will be a general clean-up to remove loose particles in the ankle.
The Australian veteran picked up the injury on January 25th while playing for Milwaukee.
Bogut is expected to return to training camp in October, once he has completed rehab.
