Three players suspended, two fined for Grizzlies-Knicks brawl

The NBA gave out three suspensions and two fines as a result of the fourth-quarter scuffle between the Memphis Grizzlies and New York Knicks.

Elfrid Payton of the Knicks was suspended one game for pushing Jae Crowder.

For the Grizzlies, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Marko Guduric were each suspended one game for leaving the bench.

Crowder, who took the late three-pointer that started the skirmish, was fined $25,000 for escalating the on-court altercation.

Marcus Morris was fined $35,000 for his role in escalating the fight and for offensive and derogatory comments made to the media after the game.

Jackson Jr. and Guduric will serve their suspensions on Jan. 31 against the New Orleans Pelicans, while Payton will serve his on Feb. 1 against the Indiana Pacers.
