The Golden State Warriors are optimistic that center Kevon Looney will return to the lineup during the upcoming road trip.
Looney practiced with the team on Wednesday, but will not play against the Boston Celtics on Thursday.
Looney has been sidelined since December 23 and has missed the last 17 games of the Warriors, due to an abdominal injury.
The big man of the Warriors has played in only 10 games this season, while Golden State is on the bottom of the West with a 10-38 record.
