Utah Jazz star Mike Conley talked ahead of the European Primetime game this weekend against the Mavs on Sky Sports Arena.

Q: Are the Jazz finding their identity as a basketball team? What is that identity?

MC: “Really, we are a tough, physical defensive team. We are a defensive team first and then everything else is going to come. Just the obvious unselfishness is what we like to live by and you are starting to see it now. When the ball moves six or seven times in one possession guys on the bench are already starting to stand up because they know what is going to happen. That is what we love. Whether we win or lose games is one thing, but playing that kind of style is what we want.”

Q: Your teammates have supported and encouraged you through injury struggles. How has that helped adjusting to a new team?

MC: “It’s great. These guys have been pushing me through all season, and that is how we do. We just lift each other up, have fun when we play, and that is why we love playing together.”
