Derrick Rose is absolutely the hot name of the NBA market. Several teams are in fact interested in the playmaker who landed at the Detroit Pistons in the summer. Above all, the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers are the two most accredited teams to win Rose.

The fact that the Lakers are desperate for a guard with playmaker skills is one of the mysteries hidden in the worst way in the entire NBA. With Rajon Rondo the only player able to respond to this need, the Lakers could seriously think of Rose before February 6th. Rose, former teammate of LeBron James for a few months at the Cavaliers, responds completely to all the needs of the Lakers: he is a veteran who knows the game like few others, able to create for himself and for others; one of the few able to rest Rondo. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, DeMarcus Cousins and Quinn Cook are the main suspects: they could be the exchange pawns to get to the youngest MVP in NBA history.

After starting the season with well-founded expectations of being able to play the role of the contender, the Sixers have instead discovered that they are not yet able to perform at a high level: the addition of a player like Rose would be providential for a group that sometimes have struggles to score points. Inserted in a roster behind Embiid, Harris and Simmons, Rose could easily enjoy freedom without any kind of pressure on him: it will be necessary to understand which exchange pawns to exploit, with the Sixers willing to give up Furkan Korkmaz, while the Pistons ask Al Horford.
