Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie is having a career year, but there are multiple teams around the league that have expressed trade interest in the breakout player.

Dinwiddie’s name has intrigued scouts and executives from around the league with the Feb. 6 trade deadline approaching, according to Dan Woike of The Los Angeles Times.

The 26-year-old has been the go-to scorer in Kyrie Irving’s absence, as Dinwiddie has averaged 24.8 points per game in the 26 games without Irving.

With a healthy Irving and Kevin Durant, Dinwiddie’s opportunities would, however, considerably shrink.

For example, in the four games since Irving returned from injury, Dinwiddie averaged 15.3 points per game.

Dinwiddie’s field goal attempts also dropped off in those four games, as he averaged 13 shots per game compared to 19.5 when Irving was out.

A trade for Dinwiddie would come at a pretty high price, but rival executives are seemingly at least doing their due diligence.
