NBA Hall of Famer Tracy McGrady thinks the Philadelphia 76ers should do their best to bring Derrick Rose to the team.
In an appearance on The Jump alongside Rachel Nichols and fellow retired player Richard Jefferson, McGrady made it clear the 76ers should go after a possible trade for Rose.
For his part, Jefferson added that “I think he should want to go and play in the playoffs. I think he’s an attractive trade piece.
Do I think he’s somebody that’s going to get them over the top? I don’t think he can anybody over the top. But I want Derrick Rose in the postseason.”
Rose is averaging 18.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game this season, while the Detroit Pistons are at 15-27.
