Anthony Davis will never participate in dunk contest, says it’s ‘not him’

Lakers superstar Anthony Davis can make impressive dunks. But, he has no intention to take part in the dunk contest, ever.

The reason is, AD explains, he is in-game dunker only and cannot do what the likes of Dwight Howard and Zach LaVine do, per Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

Despite his recent string of impressive lob dunks, you'll never see Anthony Davis in the dunk contest. Not even in his hometown of Chicago. AD: "that’s not me. In-game dunker only. The stuff I see Dwight (Howard) do and all these other guys — Zach LaVine — I can’t do that. No."
