Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray believes his team lost to the Washington Wizards (128-114), because they underestimated their opponent.
“I just didn’t think we respected our opponent,” Murray said, per Mike Singer of the Denver Post. “All this talk about they’re the worst team in the league. Might be the hardest playing team in the league.
I’ll put them with Miami, New York plays hard, those teams we’ve got to come out and be ready,” he added.
The Nuggets have lost twice in their last three games and have dropped to 24-11.
