Zach Lavine and the Slam Dunk Contest. We can say that it is a certainty, it is more than just a habit.
The Chicago Bulls player, in fact, was the winner of the competition for two editions, in 2015 and 2016, but Lavine then skipped the following ones. However, it seems that Lavine could return to the next All Star Game. The goal of the Bulls player is to achieve a historic third career success.
Lavine would have admitted to having several new dunks ready, but at the same time not yet sure if he will be able to show them in such a competitive and prestigious scenario as the All Star Game.
“I’m thinking about it – Lavine admitted. My girlfriend asked me too, and I replied that I don’t know if I’ll be back or not. During the games I spontaneously try to amaze the audience with different shots, while it is different to prepare such an event”.
The hope is that Lavine will be able to participate in the Slam Dunk Contest. Lavine is one of the best players in recent years and the Bulls player could thus reach great past NBA champions such as Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter, all Slam Dunk winners.
