Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart will likely return to the team’s lineup for the game against the Toronto Raptors on Saturday (28/12).

Smart has been dealing with an infection on both eyes and has missed the Celtics last eight games.

“He came in yesterday, did some full-court stuff, looked good. And then we’ll be able to assess that tomorrow,” Boston’s head coach Brad Stevens said.

For his part, Smart, who has been averaging a career-high 11.8 points, 4.6 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals this season, stated that he feels much better than he did on Wednesday and that his eyes are no longer half open.
