Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr thinks James Harden has forced teams to change the way they play defense.

“James (Harden) has basically forced the whole league to reconsider how to defend him, in particular, but how to just guard pick-and-roll,” Kerr said, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Harden has been averaging a league-best 38.1 points per game this season, along with 7.5 assists.

On Christmas Day, the Warriors stunned the Houston Rockets (116-104), with Harden posting 24 points (9/18 shooting), six rebounds and 11 assists.

Golden State improved to 8-24, whereas Houston dropped to 21-10.
