Dwight Howard: “We’re still the best team”

Big man Dwight Howard scored two points, grabbed nine rebounds, handed out two assists, and blocked a shot in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 106-111 loss over the the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night at Staples Center. The Lakers dropped to 24-7. After the matchup, Howard was optimistic, even though they have lost four straight games:

“We’re still the best team. After tonight, let it go. It’s just another game. Of course, we all wanted it. I think everybody in L.A. that’s a Lakers fan wanted to see us win tonight. But like I told you guys a couple days ago, we want to be the best team in June. We want to be the team that’s holding up the trophy, and I think when we do that, nobody will remember the game that we lost on Christmas,” Howard said, per ESPN.
