Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle addressed the status of Luka Doncic ahead of the clash with the San Antonio Spurs (26/12).
“I don’t know what his status will be for Thursday, but he’ll certainly be upgraded,” Carlisle said, per Brad Townsend of Dallas News.
“He’s doing well. We’ll see how he feels [Wednesday], and then Thursday we’ll see what’s what, but things are looking better and better,” Carlisle added.
Doncic, who has been averaging 29.3 points, 9.6 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 1.2 steals this season, has been out of action since December 14 with a sprained ankle.
Dallas is at 19-10.
