In a sudden move Predrag Stojakovic has decided to retire from professional basketball, at the age of 34.

As the player told ESPN today, he decided to quit basketball due to physical exhaustion, despite having a fair amount of offers on the table.

Stojakovic retires as an NBA champion, which he won with Dallas Mavericks last season. Another two major honours he won were the Eurobasket 2001 and World Championship 2002 gold medals, both with Serbia and Montenegro National Team.

The two times NBA three point shoot-out winner is expected to retire to Thessaloniki, Greece – where he spent the early years of his career playing for PAOK.
