Today the Sports Business Journal/Daily named the Golden State Warriors the ‘Franchise of the Decade’ across all professional sports teams. The Dubs proudly announced the nomination on Twitter.
The tweet included a short video with pictures of the Warriors players from this decade. It included all of the stars except for Kevin Durant who joined the Brooklyn Nets in summer.
Durant helped the Warriors win two NBA titles in 2017 and 2018 but was nowhere to be seen in the tribute tweet.
