The EuroBasket day off

The players and coaches arrived in Kaunas and had their respective practices inside the new Zalgiris Arena.

“It’s a gorgeous basketball facility,” Russia coach David Blatt said after his side finished their training session.

“We’re used to the court now, but you can feel that this is a new stadium and we’re honoured to be here. The players have earned their right to be here and I’m proud of them.”

The new Zalgiris Arena, the largest in the Baltics will hold over 14,000 fans for the final round of EuroBasket.

After their training sessions, Slovenia, Greece and Russia took some time-out to walk around the beautiful city of Kaunas.
