Spain eased into the quarter finals of EuroBasket 2011, by getting a measure of revenge from their loss at the 2010 World Championship with a 84-59 demolition of Serbia.

Milos Teodosic drained a three-pointer to remember in Istanbul with seconds remaining Serbia knocked out Spain in last year’s World Championship quarter final.

There was to be no repeat in Vilnius.

A Tony Parker lay-up in transition put France up 70-62 with 39 seconds remaining to put the game to bed for good.

Nando De Colo led all scorers with 21 points, with Parker scoring 19 points in support.

Simas Jasaitis led the hosts with 13 points.

Germany kept their hopes of a quarter final place alive with a 73-67 victory over Turkey.

Chris Kaman led all scorers for Germany with 20 points, and pulled down seven rebounds with Dirk Nowitzki hitting 19.

Omer Asik led Turkey with 19 points 11 rebound double-double. Both teams have 1-and-3 win-loss records.
