Ufuk Sarica has signed a two-year contract extension with Turkey and will remain with the national team until 2021.
The president of the Turkish Basketball Federation, Hedo Turkoglu, took to Twitter and announced the news.
Sarica took over the team in 2017 and will attempt to lead Turkey to the 2020 Olympic Games.
Turkey will participate in the Olympic Qualifiers Tournament of Victoria, Canada. The team was seeded in Group B and will face Uruguay and Czech Republic. Group A consists of Greece, China and host Canada.
