Anthony Davis set an NBA record for most points in 1st game against former team

Anthony Davis posted 41 points, nine rebounds and three steals in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 114-110 road win against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night. Davis’ 41 points is the most by a player in their first match-up vs. their former team.

This season, Davis is averaging 26.1 points, 9.0 boards, 1.6 steals, 2.8 blocks, and 3.6 assists per contest, while shooting at 47.7% from the floor.
