NBA House to offer free interactive basketball experience for fans in Paris

LONDON, PARIS, Nov. 27, 2019 – The National Basketball Association (NBA) today unveiled plans for NBA House, a free interactive fan experience and hospitality venue, that will be held at Halle des Blancs Manteaux in the 4th Arrondissement in Paris from January 23-26.  The event opens the day before the NBA’s first regular-season game in Paris featuring the Charlotte Hornets and the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020 at the AccorHotels Arena.

Hosted in a centrally-located historic venue, NBA House will offer a variety of basketball-themed activities showcasing the excitement of the NBA and the game of basketball, including a basketball half-court where fans can compete in a series of skills challenges and other games.  Fans can also look forward to various appearances by Charlotte Hornets Legends Muggsy Bogues and Dell Curry and Milwaukee Bucks Legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, as well as mascots, dunk teams and more.

“NBA House will be a destination for fans of all ages to experience the excitement of the NBA first-hand in the heart of Paris,” said Kent Christian, NBA EME Associate Vice President, Events, Marketing and Operations. “The NBA Paris Game 2020 has generated unprecedented interest in the city and beyond.  We look forward to engaging with fans and guests from across Europe at NBA House as we celebrate the league, our teams and players.”

NBA House will feature a variety of interactive fan elements and customized activities including prize giveaways, oncourt entertainment and games throughout the event.  Visitors will also have the chance to shop at an NBA Store within the venue which will contain a range of official NBA products including the latest Hornets and Bucks merchandise, NBA Store exclusive items, as well as NBA Paris Game 2020 products.

The NBA Paris Game 2020 partners include presenting partner beIN SPORTS, beats, Gatorade, Fanatics, Foot Locker, ParionsSport, Nike, SAP, Tissot and 2K Sports. 

NBA House, located at Halle des Blancs Manteaux, 48 Rue Vieille du Temple, 75004, is open from Thursday, Jan. 23 to Sunday, Jan. 26.  Opening times will be available closer to the event at nbaevents.com/nbahouseparis.
