Bostjan Nachbar is set to miss Eurobasket 2011 after having to go through surgery to fix a problem in his ankle.
After consulting the medical team of the Slovenia NT it was decided that the player should undergo an urgent operation, so he wouldn’t aggravate the problem.
The rehabilitation period is estimated around 4-6 weeks. Therefore, the player won’t be able to play in Lithuania in the upcoming Eurobasket tournament. This comes as another powerful blow to the Slovenian side which will field a team without many star players such as Brezec, Udrih, Vidmar and others, for various reasons.
