Brezec moves to Lokomotiv

Lokomotiv Kuban has concluded a deal that landed Primoz Brezec to the Russian semi finalists.

No details were released about the contract of the former Indiana, Charlotte, Detroit and Toronto player.

The Slovenian international was a personal choice of Kuban’s new coach Bozidar Maljkovic, although the player had rejected his call to Slovenia NT earlier, due to family reasons.

“Brezec is an experienced player who understands basketball. He shoots well from behind the arc, he can play as a power forward and a center with the same ease.” commented Maljkovic.

Brezec is the fifth summer signing summer of the club after Sergey Bykov, Nikolay Padius, Nikita Shabalkin and Artem Zabelin.
