If you thought that the French national team training camp was meant to get the whole team in shape before the second part of the camp, in Pau, that will mostly focus on France’s game plan, you thought wrong.
This revelation came from the mouth of Tony Parker himself. Even if he didn’t take part in the morning activities with the rest of the team, yesterday, his trashtalking was as sharp as ever.
When someone asked him what this training camp was for, here’s what he had to say.
“Our training camp? It’s just so that Boris Diaw can get in shape.”
Boris and Tony have been best friends since they both started to play for INSEP, the French basketball school where they developed the skills that eventually led them to the NBA, so that must be what people call tough love…
