Following the departure of head coach Argyris Pedoulakis, Igor Kokoskov is one of the candidates to take over Panathinaikos.

Per Eurohoops.net, Kokoskov, who coached the Phoenix Suns last season, is one of the favourites to become the head coach of the “Greens” and an offer is expected to be made soon.

Kokoskov was the head coach of Slovenia in the 2017 EuroBasket and led the team to the gold medal. He is currently an assistant coach for the Sacramento Kings.

UNICS Kazan head coach, Dimitris Priftis, is also a strong candidate.
