Italian champion Montepaschi Siena has put some young energy into its lineup by signing forward DaJuan Summers to help try to get back to the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four next season.

Summers (2.03 meters, 23 years old) arrives from Detroit of the NBA, where he played in 66 games over two seasons, averaging 3.2 points in 9 minutes per game. Prior to Detroit, Summers spent two seasons at Georgetown University, averaging 11.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists.

Siena, which made its fourth Final Four since 2003 last season and finished third in Barcelona, announced a two-year deal with Summers.
