PGE Turow receives a Euroleague wild card

According to the club itself PGE Turow was invited to take part in Euroleague qualifiers and the Polish club decided to accept it.

 

The invitation arrived to the club two days ago and the Polish league runner-ups decided to accept it today.{jathumbnail off}

The club’s president Jan Michalski stated: “We are aware of the many problems we will have to overcome and the gap between us and the best European clubs but we want to gain experience and boost our ambitions by playing on the highest level.

We hope that the performance of our team in the qualifying tournament will be a step forward to having two Polish clubs in the competition. We are positive that Poland deserves to have more spots in European competitions.

We will play our matches in indoors Sports and Recreation Centre in Zielona Gora”
