One of the top prospects in Europe, Donatas Motiejunas, decided to try his luck in this year’s NBA Draft. The 20-year-old 2.13 m Lithuanian forward is projected to be one of the first 15 picks.
Motiejunas currently plays for Benetton Treviso in Italy. This is his second year with the club and also the second season playing abroad.
The player averages 12.8 points and 4.1 rebounds during 24.6 minutes of play in Italian league. His performances have been noticed in Eurocup as well as he was given Eurocup Rising Star award.
Herb Rudoy, the agent of Motiejunas, expects his client to be drafted among the top 14 picks. According to various experts, the player could be a top 10 pick.
