Partizan tabs prospect Nenad Miljenovic

Serbian giants Partizan Belgrade continue the tradition of snapping young talents and turning them into stars. The most recent example of such strategy is Czech forward Jan Vesely who could be leaving the club in summer for NBA or European powerhouse.

Crno-beli hope to make the right decision again. Nenad Miljenovic became the latest acquisition of five-time Adriatic League champions. The 18-year-old point guard played for the youth team of cross-town rivals FMP Zeleznik before joining Partizan.

According to kosarka.rs, Partizan will pay €150,000 for Miljenovic’s former club as a compensation for their investment in the player.

Miljenovic is considered to be one of the top prospects in Europe and is a member of Serbian youth teams. He won bronze medals in 2009 with his country’s U-16 side.
