Coming off a championship season with the Toronto Raptors, forward Danny Green, who signed to a two-year, $30 million deal with L.A. last summer, talked on the benefits from joining the Lakers:

“I think the same that it comes down for everyone. Obviously, it’s the best city to thrive in career-wise. Continue to still win, have fun, and live your best type of lifestyle. And also was able to maximize on the contract. Signing with the Los Angeles Lakers covered all the bases for me,” Green told Wosny Lambre of The Athletic.

The 32-year-old sharpshooter averaged 10.3 points per game for the Raptors last regular season, shooting 3-pointers at 45%. In 24 playoff appearances he averaged 6.9 points and made 33% of threes.
