In the second round of the EuroLeague, Crvena Zvezda rallied past Fenerbahce Beko in front of about 17.000 people in “Štark” Arena (68-56).

The team from Serbia surprised Fenerbahce with an excellent defense. Every player of the home team indeed needed to take an effort to score, but the same was on the other side, too.

Željko Obradović’s players were without a solution, without an idea of how to play against Milan Tomić’s squad.

In the first quarter, only Nando De Colo was playing on the level a Fenerbahce player needed to be. Everyone else was stopped thanks to an excellent defense by Branko Lazić, Stratos Perperoglou, Dejan Davidovac, Ognjen Dobrić, and co.

The best scorer on the court for Crvena Zvezda was Lorenzo Brown with 13 points, while both Perperoglou and James Gist scored 11.

On the other side, for Fenerbahce, the top scorer was De Colo with 19 points, while Ali Muhammed added 13.

Now, Crvena Zvezda has 1 win and 1 loss after two rounds in the EuroLeague, while the Turkish team has two losses (0-2).
