Three years after his retirement from basketball and at the age of 40, Toni Kukoc has new ambitions and wants to compete in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro summer Olympics, but playing a different sport this time.
In an interview to Croatian press Toni Kukoc said that he wants to compete in the 2016 Olympics as a golfer!
“Golf is my great love and the best game invented by man. I practice four or five times a week and have a five handicap, which is fine for an amateur. I’m so happy because golf has returned to the Olympic family,” added Kukoc in the Croatian press.
Kukoc has already participated as a basketball player in three Olympic tournaments.
“I would be happy to represent Croatia in Rio. I’d like to participate in the Games.”
Well, Toni, I wish you the best of luck in your new career, although golf is not my cup of tea.
