Lakers’ sharp shooter Danny Green believes he will well alongside the team’s superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Coming off a championship season with the Toronto Raptors, Green sees his role with the Lakers as a floor spacer to give more room for LeBron and AD to operate.

Here is what Green said, per Christian Rivas of Silver Screen & Roll:

“I think I’m going to fit perfectly fine alongside LeBron and Anthony Davis. Those guys are very good. They’re superstars at attacking and getting to the basket and pretty much doing everything. A lot of teams try to double-team them, and if you have floor space, it’s harder to double-team, so my job is really to play defense, space the floor and make it easier for them to operate one-on-one”

The 32-year-old averaged 10.3 points per game for the Raptors last regular season, shooting 3-pointers at 45%. In 24 playoff appearances he averaged 6.9 points and made 33% of threes.
