The exact game was not mentioned. There were nine playoff games in June, games 2 & 3 of the EWE Baskets Oldenburg vs. Brose Baskets series, games 2 to 5 of the ALBA Berlin vs. Telekom Baskets Bonn series, and all five final series games between EWE Baskets Oldenburg and Telekom Baskets Bonn. Oldenburg eventually won the championship in the last seconds of decisive Game 5, its first in club history.
