The president of the Spanish Basketball Federation, Jorge Garbajosa, was critical of the way EuroLeague Basketball operates.
“It [EuroLeague] is doing a lot of damage to basketball. With these fights, we get into, where we want to scratch a little more power, attention and what we do is turn the basketball fans away [from the sport].
We can never attack athletes or the fans and sometimes we are wrong,” Garbajosa said, per AS.
