Real Madrid and Barcelona undefeated in the ACB

Real Madrid and Barcelona earned their second victory in the ACB and remained undefeated in the league.

The “Whites” crushed Murcia at home (99-67), leading from start to finish (30-13, 49-25) and cruising to an easy victory.

Sergio Llull led the winners with a game-high 17 points, whereas Emanuel Cate had 14 points for the losing squad.

For their part, the Catalans turned things around in the fourth quarter and edged Baskonia in overtime (95-87).

The Basques were in front by eight (63-71), with eight minutes to go, however the “Blaugrana” closed the game on a 17-9 run to force an overtime (80-80).

In the extra period, Brandon Davies and Malcolm Delaney scored crucial points and sealed the deal for Barcelona.

Davies had a game-high 24 points for the winners, with Nikola Mirotic (22 points), Delaney (14 points) and Cory Higgins (10 points) also scoring in double figures for the Catalans.

On the other hand, Tornike Shengelia posted 16 points for the losing squad, with Patricio Garino and Youssoupha Fall (12 rebounds) adding 14 and 12 points, respectively.
