Milos Teodosic talked about missing the Basketball World Cup and the decision of Sasha Djordjevic to leave the Serbian NT.

Here is what the Serbian guard told Novosti:

On Sasha Djordjevic stepping down as the head coach of Serbia: “I am very sorry that Sasha Djordjevic left. We haven’t talked about it, but I understand and accept his decision.”

On missing the Basketball World Cup, due to injury: “I am sorry that I was not able to travel to China, but injuries are part of our careers. We have to face these difficult moments.

I didn’t know right away that I was going to miss the World Cup, but I felt it wasn’t good. It’s a lot harder to watch. You get even more nervous. When you play, you don’t think much.

We knew that after many years we were considered favorites. We as players also had high expectations. Due to the injuries, I can’t call it a failure. At the end of the day fifth place is acceptable.”
