The head coach of France, Vincent Collet, addressed the upcoming Basketball World Cup Quarter-final against Team USA.
Here is what coach Collet told reporters in the post-game press conference of the defeat to Australia (98-100):
“We have a quarterfinal against the strongest team in the competition. But until proven otherwise, we are alive. What is worrying is the move tomorrow. Thanks to the organization that brings us back to Shenzhen and then by bus to Dongguan.
It will be necessary to manage fatigue of the travel in addition to that of the match whereas the Americans are already on the spot. But we will give everything to succeed in the impossible feat.”
