In their final game in the 2019 Basketball World Cup, Jonas Valanciunas and Lithuania dominated the Dominican Republic (74-55).

The Lithuanian center finished the game with 19 points for the winners, with Lukas Lekavicius adding 19 as well. On the other hand, Rigoberto Mendoza had 14 points for the losing squad.

Lithuania led by 20 points in the fourth quarter and cruised to the victory (68-48), as the Dominican Republic never recovered after that.

This was the last game for the head coach of Lithuania, Dainius Adomaitis, who will leave the team after the end of the tournament. Adomaitis was furious with the referees of the match against France and the mistakes they made.
