LaMelo Ball made his debut with the Illawarra Hawks

The youngest of the Ball brothers made his debut for the Australian side Illawarra Hawks. In a pre-season game LaMelo scored 12 points as his new team crushed the Australian Indigenous All-Star team comprised of ex-NBL players and players from the NBL1, the league below the NBL.

The Illawarra Hawks won the game 110-87. LaMelo played for 17 minutes during which he made 3/6 two-pointers, 2/5 three-pointers, took 6 rebounds and made 5 assists.

LaMelo didn’t finish the game after fouling out midway through the fourth quarter.

The 18-year-old point guard is projected to be a Top-5 draft in next year’s NBA Draft.
