Czech Republic made an outstanding performance on both ends and dominated Brazil (71-93), coming very close to the quarter-finals.

The Czechs never trailed in the game and led by as many as 29 points to cruise to the victory.

Tomas Satoransky was the best player of the winners, with 20 points, seven rebounds and nine assists. Ondrej Balvin added 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Czech Republic.

On the other hand, Leandro Barbosa and Marcelinho Huertas had 11 points apiece for the losing squad, which suffered a painful defeat.

The Czech Republic improved to 3-1 and have the tie-breaker over Brazil. Even in a three-way tie with Greece and Brazil at 3-2, they will qualify for the quarter-finals, even if they lose by 11 or less points.
