Serbia decimated the Philippines; advanced to the second round

Thanks to another outstanding performance, Serbia crushed the Philippines (126-67) and advanced to the second round of the tournament.

Seven players scored in double figures for the winners, with Nemanja Bjelica having a team-high 20 points.

Jaymar Perez had a team-high 16 points for the losing squad, which suffered its second defeat and was eliminated.

Thanks to the Serbians’ victory, Italy also qualified for the next round. The two teams will face each other on Wednesday (04/09), with the winner finishing on top of Group D.
