Fox Sports analyst Shannon Sharpe thinks the Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James will have an extra motivation for the upcoming NBA season after hearing all the doubts about him:
“LeBron hears all of the talk. … This is the first time in LeBron James’ 17th NBA season that people are actually wondering, questioning, ‘Is he on the downside of his career?’ He hears that. He’s very motivated, but he also understands he has AD now,” Sharpe said.
This past season, James averaged 27.4 points (51 FG%), 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game.
