France edged Italy; Evan Fournier sets new career-high

France endured the comeback of Italy and earned the 82-80 victory, with Evan Fournier setting a new career-high.

The French guard/forward finished the game with 29 points, setting a new career record with the national team, while Rudy Gobert added 13.

On the other hand, Marco Belinelli (20 points), Danilo Gallinari (15 points) and Alessandro Gentile (14 points) stood out for the losing squad.

France was in control early in the second half (56-42), but Italy reacted and went on a 13-25 run to make it an one possession game (69-67). The French team, though, stood tall and sealed the deal.
