Bogdan Bogdanovic and Serbia stunned Greece

Bogdan Bogdanovic was unstoppable (28 points) and helped Serbia edge Greece in overtime (80-85) and win the “Acropolis Tournament”.

The Greeks were in control until the end of the third quarter (25-17. 31-23, 48-41, 57-52). Yet, the Serbians went on a 7-20 run and earned an eight-point lead in the fourth quarter (64-72).

The hosts, though, turned things around and closed the game on an 8-0 run of their own to force an overtime (72-72).

In the extra period, Serbia stood tall and made some difficult shots with Bogdanovic and Nemanja Bjelica, securing the victory.

Bogdanovic finished the game with 28 points for the winners, while Bjelica added 18 points and 14 rebounds.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 20 points for the losing squad, with his brother, Thanasis, posting 16.
