According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Memphis big man Dwight Howard, 33, who is not expected to play for the Grizzlies in the coming season, is motivated to reunite with the Los Angeles Lakers:
“By all accounts Dwight Howard is motivated right now and he wants to be a part of a potential Lakers team. He’s excited about the prospects of joining LeBron James and Anthony Davis and doing really whatever is asked of him,” Charania said.
Howard missed most part of the 2018-19 season owing to injuries, averaging 12.8 points along with 9.2 rebounds per game.
