Dragan Milosavljevic misses the 2019 Basketball World Cup

Dragan Milosavljevic will miss the 2019 Basketball World Cup, as confirmed by the Serbian Basketball Federation on Saturday (17/08).

The 30-year-old guard suffered a knee injury during Friday’s preparation game against Turkey in Athens (87-72).

“He suffered a knee ligament injury and will need surgery. Unfortunately, Milosavljevic will not be able to compete in the World Cup,” the doctor of the Serbian national team, Dragan Radovanovic, said.

Due to his injury, Milosavljevic will likely miss the entire 2019/20 season.

The remaining 12 players of Serbia are as follows:

Stefan Bircevic, Nemanja Bjelica, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Marko Guduric, Nikola Jokic, Stefan Jovic, Vladimir Lucic, Boban Marjanovic, Vasilije Micic, Nikola Milutinov, Miroslav Raduljica and Marko Simonovic.
