Spain defeated Turkey in the Final of the 2019 FIBA U18 European Championship (57-53) and won the trophy for the first time since 2011.
The Spaniards came back from a 13-point deficit in the second half and earned the victory. Santi Aldama led the winners in scoring with a game-high 23 points.
In the third place game, Slovenia dominated Greece (57-81), thanks to a 14-35 run in the fourth quarter. This was the first medal for the Slovenians since 2002.
